PVSpring09 (29)I was just in my landscape yesterday and realized that I have become a collectorof plants. This recalls my basis in Landscape Architecturewhich began with my passion and education in horticulture. It has always been a struggle for me to not have the most recent or unusual plants in my garden. With this habit , my resulting landscape is one that is disjointed and chaotic. Therefore, I began to edit my landscape and transplant shrubs, perennials and

potted annuals. I went back to the basics for good design – balance, scale, proportion and repitition.

Even us so called professionals need to our checks and balances.
